To all the valued clients of Birds Nest Beauty Studio:

 

Birds Nest Beauty Studio will officially re-open Tuesday June 9. 2020. When you arrive, you’ll notice some changes. In order to manage the social distancing and safety protocols required by Worksafe BC Birds Nest owners, Renee Hyette and Shaleen Hauck are the only 2 stylists to return to the Salon. Reducing our staff and our services has been an incredibly difficult decision but one that best fits where we are in our lives at this time.

 

Our dear colleagues: Renee Meilleur, Kate Hart, Elya Sunduk and Sawyer Dodd will no longer be providing services at the Birds Nest. To book an appointment with Renee M, Kate, Elya or Sawyer please visit the TEAM section for their current contact information.

 

We understand how desperate everyone is to book an appointment and that everyone wants to come in ASAP. After much deliberation we have come up with a process that we hope feels fair to everyone. 

 

All clients who had appointments scheduled in:

  • MARCH will receive an email on Wednesday May 27th inviting them to book an appointment online with Renee or Shaleen.

  • APRIL will receive an email on Thursday May 28th inviting them to book an appointment online with Renee or Shaleen.

  • MAY will receive an email on Thursday May 29th inviting them to book an appointment online with Renee or Shaleen.

 

We are reaching out to hundreds of clients and you are all important to us. To help us communicate effectively we will only be responding to emails at this time. Please use the booking link in the email you will receive this week to book your appointment.

 

If you have not received an email inviting you to schedule an appointment by Monday June 1st, please email bookings@birdsnestbeautystudio.com and Renee or Shaleen will get back to you.

Safety Procedures

EVERY PERSON WHO ENTERS THE SALON MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES.   NO EXCEPTIONS

Please sanitize your hands immediately upon entering the building.

Please ensure you have a mask on, or if you need a mask we can provide one for a small fee.

Please wipe your belongings upon entry with the wipes provided.

We will not be serving coffee or tea. We ask that you do not bring outside food or beverage at this time.

Please refrain from using the washroom if at all possible during your appointment.

If you show any cold or flu-like symptoms (even if its just allergies) we ask that you reschedule your appointment or we may refuse your appointment.

Procedures

We will not be currently accepting  "Walk ins"  for appointments, bookings or product sales.

Please use our website to purchase product online or to book your appointment.

Please arrive on- time. This allows us the proper time to clean in between each client.

The salon door will be locked at all times and we will be allowing guests in at the time of your scheduled appointment.

We ask that you arrive alone to you appointment.

Our schedules are limited as we have increased appointment times to allow for cleaning, We will no longer be able to "throw in a few foils" if you are not booked for the appropriate service.

Please keep the conversation positive : we all have an opinion about Covid, let's focus the conversation on something POSITIVE

We will only be accepting  CASH or E-TRANSFER as forms of payment

Protocol

We will sanitize and wash our hands multiple times throughout the day.

Our tools, stations and chairs will be sanitized affter each client

A fresh cape will be used on each client

Salon Space will be cleaned & disinfected multiple times throughout the day.

Hand sanitizer will placed throughout the salon and at each station

Magazines & reading material will no longer be available.

*If you have shown symptoms of the above, or seasonal allergies, we ask that you reschedule your appointment until your allergies subside*

We are so excited to see you again! Please be advised this to help streamline our contact process for our appointments that were cancelled and requests for new appointments.
